The Red Sea Beach, referred to as the Corniche is a great place to rejuvenate after a busy day in Jeddah. We went to the Corniche right before sun set  and the weather was amazing. It stretches for several miles along the Red Sea shore of Jeddah, where you can see families  and friends relaxing in small groups, sitting on their rugs enjoying an evening cup of tea or coffee ,some smoking shisha pipes and barbecuing. There are lots of interesting monuments to see, kids can play in play areas and fishermen cast their lines in the hopes of catching something nice.  The Corniche is indeed one of  Jeddah’s greatest social assets.
